What shipments can I track using Document Tracker?

Document Tracker provides shipment information for documents sent by HSBC in Bangladesh to international destinations.

 

When can I track shipments using Document Tracker?

Shipment information will be available 2 to 3 hours from the time DHL picks up the documents. Please contact your HSBC Trade Services office for their courier schedule. For subsequent shipment status details, the information will be available approximately 15 minutes from the time of the event.

 

How do I find my reference number?

For import or export bills, the reference number is a portion of the Bank transaction reference. The reference is made up of the six digit numerical portion of the transaction reference plus your branch code. For Documentary Credits (DCs) issued by HSBC, the reference number is the entire DC reference. For examples of where to find the reference, please click on the “Where can I find the Reference number?” link by the reference number input field.

 

Can I request information on old shipments?

Yes, information is available for documents sent within the last 90 days using Quick Track and the last 30 days using Request Status Updates.

 

The results of my query aren't clear to me. What should I do?

The results represent shipment events handled by DHL. Please contact DHL customer service for an explanation of the results. Call: (880 2) 9881703.


Quick Track

What does the message "No results found" mean?

You may have submitted an incorrect reference number.
Please check your reference number and re-submit your request. Please note that the reference number for DCs must be input exactly with spaces and hyphens (if any). Even if the reference is correct, no results will be found if your shipment is older than 90 days, a domestic shipment, or sent within the last few hours.


Request Status Updates

What is the difference between "Detailed" and "Brief" notification?

For 'Detailed' notification, you will be sent an email and/or SMS for each shipment event. For 'Brief' notification, you will only be sent an email and/or SMS advising the final event of the shipment, usually delivery.
