HSBC LAUNCHES YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR CHALLENGE 2012

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited in Bangladesh has launched the Young Entrepreneur Challenge (YEC) 2012 - a business plan competition for undergraduate students - through a media conference. This is the 6th year HSBC is organising this international competition in Bangladesh.

NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER FOR HSBC IN BANGLADESH

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited has announced that Andrew Tilke will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh with effect from 16 January 2012. Andrew joined HSBC Group in 1983 and has worked in a variety of roles in Europe and the Asia Pacific region including Senior Executive, International; Senior Manager, Group Audit Asia Pacific; and Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking, Philippines. Since 2009, Andrew has been based in Shanghai as a senior member of the executive team in China undertaking the responsibilities of Chief Risk Officer, HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited.
