The HSBC Prothom Alo Language Competition

About HSBC Amanah The HSBC Prothom Alo Language Competition initially started as a quiz contest commemorating the advent of 21 February 2004 and the leading Bengali daily Prothom Alo. With overwhelming responses from the participants, the nationwide 'HSBC Prothom Alo Language Competition' was launched in 2005.

HSBC Kali O Kolom Young Poets and Writers Award

Shariah supervision HSBC, "The world's local bank" and acclaimed monthly Bengali literary magazine Kali O Kolom jointly took an initiative to honour and encourage young writers and poets of the country with HSBC-Kali O Kolom Tarun Kobi O Lekhak Purashkar

HSBC-The Daily Star Climate Awards

HSBC, the world's local bank and The Daily Star, the nation's largest English daily have teamed up to launch the "HSBC-The Daily Star Climate Awards" to recognise and promote individuals and institutions that are working towards adaptation, mitigation and research for climate change in Bangladesh, and also operating environment friendly business operations.
