Young Entrepreneur Challenge
The HSBC Young Entrepreneur Challenge (YEC) is an annual, regional competition designed to encourage young people to demonstrate their creativity, acquire a wide range of practical business knowledge and skills, and unleash the power of their potential.
Entry Criteria
Teams from Bangladesh can submit their basic business idea between 7 February and 7 March 2012, in the registration form available at the YEC official website www.asiayechallenge.com/bd .
- The competition is open to full-time Bangladeshi undergraduate students from higher education institutions in Bangladesh
- Participants must form teams of two to four members
- Each team is allowed to submit only one proposal
- One participant cannot be a member of more than one team
- Members who were in any of the Gold, Silver, Bronze award winning team in previous competitions are not eligible to apply

Awards and Prizes
The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of Bangladesh finale will receive trophies of honour and cash prizes of BDT75,000, BDT45,000 and BDT35,000 respectively*. The Gold team from Bangladesh will fly to Hong Kong SAR to compete against the Gold teams from other Asian countries and territories for the regional Best of the Best, Diamond and Jade Awards.
