Business Development Manager- Trade and Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Grow trade business from existing and potential customer segments
  • Work closely with relationship teams to sustain strong working relationships with commercial customers
  • Initiate additional trade lines to attract higher business volumes to HSBC
  • Promote the image and visibility of HSBC trade business in Bangladesh by participating in industry conferences and customer engagement programmes
  • Embrace sales and activity management disciplines including business pipeline reports, client calling programme etc to achieve objectives
  • Protect the Bank from financial and operational loss
  • Work with Marketing, Product and Training departments to organise key customer engagement and training initiatives
  • Maintain close relationship with industry stakeholders like BGMEA, BKMEA, EPB, BEPZA and other organisations

Requirements

  • At least 7 years experience in international trade covering both export and import functions; experience in sales and marketing will be preferred
  • A thorough comprehension of trade related products
  • Familiarity with UCP/URC/URR etc and local foreign exchange/ import/ export policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with strong writing skills in Bangla and English
  • Strong computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good team player, self motivated and self-oriented
  • Mobility: should be prepared to work in locations where HSBC has its operations in Bangladesh i.e. Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj and Sylhet

Export/Import Manager- Trade and Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and approve export/import related transactions
  • Lead and manage team members who process transactions
  • Provide timely advice and innovative solution as per customer feedback
  • Ensure proactive and excellent service to trade customers within local, international and Group parameters
  • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance
  • Contribute in developing the Bank's trade business to achieve financial targets
  • Promote the Bank's image and protect the Bank from financial and operational loss

Requirements

  • At least 7 years experience in international trade with sound knowledge on operating in an automated environment
  • Thorough understanding of local and international regulations governing trade operations
  • Familiarity with UCP/URC/URR etc and local foreign exchange/ import/ export policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with strong writing skills in Bangla and English
  • Strong computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good team player, self motivated and self-oriented

Assistant Manager, Export/Import - Trade and Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee export/import related activities
  • Manage and supervise staff members who process business transactions
  • Ensure excellent, proactive service to the trade customers within local, international and Group parameters
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate reporting for all relevant Government and HSBC Group entities
  • Contribute in developing trade business for the Bank
  • Achieve financial targets and protect the Bank from financial and operational loss
  • Develop a strong, sustained relationship with clients based on service, loyalty and trust

Requirements

  • At least 4 years experience in international trade with sound knowledge on operating in an automated environment
  • Thorough understanding of local and international regulations governing trade operations
  • Familiarity with UCP/URC/URR etc and local foreign exchange/ import/ export policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with strong writing skills in Bangla and English
  • Strong computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office applications

Mobile Sales Officer - Personal Financial Services

Responsibilities

  • Selling PFS(Personal Financial Services) products through field sales by achieving monthly target.
  • Implementation of activities as listed in the sales/action plan.
  • Ensure that all activities met with the requirements of the Bank by keeping abreast of all procedural requirements concerning various products and services.
  • To provide quick and efficient services to customers.
  • Prospecting/Territory planning.
  • Contributing significantly to achieve branch account & asset and liability targets through cross selling.

Experience/Skills

  • Self-motivated individual with strong drive to achieve targets within deadlines.
  • Presentable, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish good rapport with customers.
  • Sales experience gained in Financial Institutions would be an added advantage, but is not a requirement.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bengali.
  • PC literate.
  • Experience in handling customer issues.
