The Hong kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd (HSBC) in Bangladesh held its fourth charity concert at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel on 13 April 2007.

HSBC has a variety of stakeholders, to whom we have a responsibility. In addition to our responsibility to our shareholders, our customers, our employees and our regulators, we have a responsibility to give something back to the community at large.

This charity concert, which was co-sponsored by Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, is one of the Bank’s major fundraising event.

Last year, HSBC was able to raise a significant amount of money which went to the aid of various charities like School of Hope, Scholars Special School, Bangladesh Pratibondhi Foundation and many others.

James, Souls, Kumar Biswajit, Lucky Akhond and Saimon were the performers for this year’s concert. They enthralled the audience with their mix of various songs.

The concert was attended by the HSBC customers and partners and was well received by everyone.

A raffle draw was held during the concert with the winners receiving many attractive prizes air tickets to London for a couple sponsored by Gulf Air.
