HSBC in Bangladesh donated BDT 50,000 to Out of Focus, a photography institution for destitute children, run by DRIK. In a simple ceremony, Muneer Hussain, Manager, Marketing and Public Relations handed over the cheque to the students of Out of Focus. The funds were raised from the sale of photographs in an exhibition, organised by HSBC in Bangladesh on the eve of the World Environment Day 2003. This initiative is a part of the global "HSBC in the Community" programme, which reflects the Bank's ongoing contribution to the local community.
