HSBC in Bangladesh donated Tk 200,000 to SAARC Women's Association. David J H Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC in Bangladesh handed over the cheque to Amna Rahman, President of SAARC Women's Association in their annual fund-raising event on 18 September 2003. The funds donated by HSBC will be used for the treatment of visually impaired children and the surgery of cleft lip and cleft palate reconstruction.
