Details: Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IIDFC) Ltd financed the country's first green brick project, thereby, helping to introduce a technology that uses 50 percent less energy in making bricks.

Category 3: Climate Change Research and Knowledge Management

Winner: Aneire Ehmar Khan
Details: Aneire Ehmar Khan, a researcher from Imperial College of the UK, won for her research on the correlation of salinity in coastal areas with maternal health condition.

Category 4: Green Business Entrepreneurship

Winner: Viyellatex Group
Details: Viyellatex Group, a leading apparel company of the country, won the award for adopting green and energy-saving technology in manufacturing garments.
