HSBC – The Daily Star Climate Awards is an initiative that seeks to recognise organisations and individuals actively working towards preserving the environment and managing the risk of climate change through their business practices, socially-driven initiatives or valuable knowledge sharing practices. Since the launch of the programme in 2010, HSBC, partnering with leading English newspaper of the country ‘The Daily Star’, has given the award of “Climate Champion” to 20 organisations and individuals.
The application process is initiated via notifications on the HSBC and The Daily Star websites and media announcements. Within the specified time period, applicants submit the required information on their green initiatives.
