HSBC to wind-down Retail Banking business in Bangladesh

The winding down of HSBC Bangladesh’s Retail Banking business has started and will be completed in phases. No new products will be offered, and services are being gradually discontinued.

With effect from 1 June 2026, the dedicated HSBC Contact Centre phone line (16240 within Bangladesh and +8809666716240 from overseas) will no longer operate.

From 1 June 2026, you can still contact us by visiting any HSBC branch in Bangladesh or by emailing contact@hsbc.com.bd.
